ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Excellent opportunity to intern for a full service marketing and communication agency. Gain invaluable hands-on experience and insight in developing and executing successful marketing campaigns, understanding copy in conjunction with strategy and branding. Candidate receives direct feedback and guidance, while fine-tuning and expanding on writing skills as they pertain to marketing and business communication. Work in a creative, driven, team environment.
The Copywriter Intern works in conjunction with content, design, and tech departments to develop and execute solutions for external and internal copy needs. Successful execution of tasks involves accuracy, creativity, attention to detail, and delivery of high-quality marketing and advertising materials on-time for every project. The Copywriter Intern is expected to write according to, and may take part in developing, the unique voice of the client, and plays an important role in the creation and maintenance of their brands.
REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and possess/develop excellent verbal and written communication skills. Organized, detail-oriented, able to work well with others, take direction, and perform under pressure. Must be able to take initiative and meet milestones and deadlines. The ideal candidate thrives in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment.
Strong knowledge of the mechanics of writing: punctuation, spelling, grammar, structure, and organization
Solid interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills required
